Second Annual Bicycle Race & Ride

Platteville Family Resource Center is proud to present the Second annual "Breaking Away From Domestic Violence" Bicycle Race & 5K Run through the beautiful hills of Southwest Wisconsin.
In partnership with WiSport, this is a 50 cc race with awards provided for registered race participants. The 5K run will be along the Rountree Branch Trail. For family fun, there will be a recreational ride around Mound View Park to raise awareness.
Please join us after the ride for other fun family activities at the Mound View Park including live music, face painting, food and more!
Race Information:
8:30AM to 9:30AM - Registration/Check-In
9AM 5K Run Starts
10AM - Amateur Bicycle Race Starts
10:30 Family Awareness Bicycle Ride
Children 11 and older pay by donation the day of.
Children 10 and younger are free to participate.
(All children must be accompanied by an adult) We encourage you to have relatives/friends donate per lap you complete. (Grandma says $5 per lap). The form is located to the right.

After the Race & Ride:
This is Hometown Festival week in Platteville so go enjoy a car show on Main Street, food and free live music in the afternoon at local taverns and the Southwest Music Festival is in the evening. Click Here to see the artist line-up and get tickets.
